Today was a very interesting day for my sandals. I lost my sea glass colored sandals twice. First I left them at the beach after we went looking for sea turtle nests on Hunting Island (a very cool thing. i’ll have to tell you about later) and had to drive in a thunder storm to get them. My daddy was so cool to go get them with me! After that we went to dinner at this great place called Dockside in Port Royal. I was playing on a dock with my little sister and my sandal fell into the water!It started floating away. I ran to the shore to try and get it but I had to step into mud and really really SHARP shells. People were watching me and cheering me on, except my dad who was worried. I cut up my feet because the mud made my feet sink, and there were lots of broken shells. Then my mom helped me and got me all cleaned up. It was crazy but fun!
