Today I went to the New York Public Library. At the library I found a book that I really liked. It was The Joy of Spooking. I couldn’t check it out but I got to read it for a little bit. Also, at the library I noticed some of the rooms smelled like stinky feet! My mom says it’s just old books! In the children’s section I saw the original Winnie the Pooh and friends! They were the actual toys of Christopher Robins, who is the author’s son.
I forgot to mention that before we went to library, we went to Grand Central Station. It is really really big! The most interesting thing in Grand Central Station was the Whispering Wall. The Whispering Wall is a mysterious corner that carries your voice to the other corner! I whispered to my mom across the room. She actually heard me and answered back!
After the library and Grand Central we went to the Bronx Zoo. At the Bronx Zoo we saw our cousins Ella, Maeve, and Celeste. We got in after the zoo closed as special guests. First we saw a peacock on the loose! Some of the other animals I saw were polar bears, monkeys, frogs, a black panther, tree kangaroos, elephants, deer, and tigers! My favorite was a special kind of monkey that was as big as a rose! It had a light brown body and a dark brown tail. I didn’t catch the name, but it was really cute!
Later that night I went to a restaurant called Flex Mussels. We went there for dessert. They have the best donuts in New York! We are definitely going to go back! Hope you keep reading!
xoxo
