Kenia in the Middle

Hola! This morning I woke up feeling so happy and energized. I decided to spend some time on the roof watching the clouds before I had to get ready. At 9:45 I started my daily walk to the garden. Today we did so much pruning to clear out some space in the back. We used the cuttings as mulch for the compost after putting them through the wood chipper which is always fun. Once we finished mixing we had a big project to complete. Juan had to cut the big tree in the garden because it was crossing over to the neighbors property. First we had to move the chicken coop from underneath the tree though. I felt so bad kicking the chickens out. Luckily we had some extra help today from a family so it wasn’t as hard as it seemed to be. We didn’t do much other than that so we went home pretty early because of all the extra help we had today. I decided to have my last beach day today not knowing if I’d have time tomorrow. It honestly was one of the most relaxing ones I’ve had. I felt so comfortable with where I was at and just reflected on my past month. After I left the beach I got ready to take myself out on a walk, and guess what! On my walk I found $10 so I decided to treat myself to a nice little dessert. I love getting good luck like that. It was such a nice self date. I got my dessert sat on the beach to people watch. When I got back I did my nails and watched a movie with one of the people in the room and went to bed. A lovely sunny day is all I can say!
