Kenia in the Middle

Welcome back! I know it’s been quite awhile but… my mom has encouraged me to use this as a personal journal to document the trip I’m on. Since many of you probably aren’t aware, this summer I decided I wanted to spend a month away volunteering. After plenty of research I found a program that would allow me to do so, I weighed the pros and cons of many different projects then I finally decided to commit to an Environmental Sustainability project based in Puerto Rico. Mainly due to the fact that it’s a field of study I’m passionate about and a place I’ve actually never been. I chose a duration of 4 weeks and will be living and volunteering there for the month of June! Now that you’re updated on what I’ll be up to the rest of my posts for now will be summaries of my days and what I’m doing within the community, I hope you enjoy!
