Kenia in the Middle

This is my first day in the city! Today I went to Central Park. It was a hot day, so I got an ice cream to cool down. In the park I saw lots of birds, trees, and people. Some of the people were riding bikes or laying out in bikinis! It was funny and weird to see. I also saw a bride and groom. They were posing for pictures. I also took a picture of them too for fun :). After the park we took a cab to Little Italy. In Little Italy we went to a pizza place called Lombardi’s. It was so good:) My dad says the pizza is killer, which is another word for awesome! After Lombardi’s we took the subway back to our apartment. Our apartment is big for the city. I have my own room but my sisters have to share. The kitchen is small but the living room is big. The only bad thing is we have to walk up 5 flights of stairs! It is really difficult walking up 5 flights of stairs with groceries! I had to help my mom walk to the market and carry home all the groceries. We had to be careful not to buy too much! It’s much different living in an apartment. I love New York! I hope you keep reading!
